Pricing teardown - July 2026

Divi Pricing, Actually Explained

The advertised price, the fine print, and the hours nobody counts.

The one-paragraph version

Divi's pricing is its superpower: $89/yr or $249 lifetime for unlimited WordPress sites, with AI in the $277/yr Pro bundle. Add normal WordPress hosting and maintenance per site, and remember the price of the 2023 to 2026 Divi 5 saga was paid in community patience.

Divi plans in 2026

Prices move; these are the published numbers as of July 2026, worth re-checking on Divi's own pricing page before you buy.

The fine print that changes the math: As of July 2026 Divi runs $89/yr or $249 one-time lifetime for unlimited sites, with Divi Pro at $277/yr adding Divi AI and cloud features; Divi 5 reached stable in February 2026 after a three-year saga.

The cost nobody puts on the pricing page: your hours

Divi is priced like software, but it consumes your time like a job. Budget the hours honestly: learning the editor, fighting layouts, writing every word of copy, sourcing images, making it work on mobile. For most owners that is 20 to 60 hours for a first site. At even $50 an hour of your time, the "cheap" plan costs $1,000 to $3,000 in labor you paid yourself, before the subscription.

That is the actual comparison with PISCES: Launch is $29/mo and Pro is $99/mo, right in the same band as Divi's plans, except the AI does the design, the copywriting and the structure in about 90 seconds, and you edit by typing instructions. Same money; none of the labor.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to use Divi?

The $249 lifetime license amortized across a fleet is the cheapest serious WordPress building deal there is; hosting per site is the ongoing cost.

What does Divi really cost per year?

License aside, each Divi site carries normal WordPress economics: $100 to $500 per year in hosting and upkeep, plus migration time whenever major versions land.

Is PISCES really free to try?

Yes, and free now includes hosting: build your site with no credit card and publish a one-pager on a free magnetpisces.com address (with a small badge). Paid plans start at $29/mo (Launch: 3 pages, your own domain, no badge) and $99/mo (Pro: 25 pages, blog, Stripe store, booking, full code export).

Am I locked into PISCES the way I would be with a site builder?

No. On Pro and up you can download your entire site as a Next.js project zip and host it anywhere. Most website builders, including Divi, never let you take working code with you. PISCES treats your site as code you own.
